Speaking of Vote By Mail

Georgia allows all voters to request absentee ballots and vote by mail for any reason. We encourage all our members to request their ballots now for the November election and send them back ASAP. You can check your voter registration, request your absentee ballot, check your ballot's status, see a sample ballot, and more at the Secretary of State's My Voter Page.

YDG Appointed Positions

The Young Democrats of Georgia doesn't have a staff budget... yet. But we need to fill these positions now! If you have experience on a campaign or with an advocacy organization and are interested in leveraging your talents to support Young Democrats, we need you! Please email YDG President Rachel Paule if you are interested in any of the following positions. 

• YDG Communications Director
• YDG Press Secretary
• YDG Activism Director

Become a Poll Worker

Poll workers (as opposed to poll “watchers”) are paid positions with your county of residence.  We need good people working in polling locations across the State who are committed to providing access to the polls!

The counties train you, pay you, and you get to see the inner workings of election administration.  Expect to work a full day on election day, and during the early vote period as well. To apply, you must be at least 16 years of age, and a resident of the county in which you are applying to work, and able to read, write, and understand English.  You cannot be a candidate for public office, hold public office, or the close family member of a candidate or holder of public office.

The Young Democrats of Georgia currently has less than 600 total email subscribers. We're grateful to count you among them. Please consider telling your friends, family, and any young Democrats in your network about us and invite them to subscribe to our newsletter. With your help, we can reach 1000 subscribers before the election in November!
