Sewage is spilling into UK bathing waters and rivers as we speak.
After the recent rainfall all around the UK, our antiquated sewerage systems are struggling to cope. And right now, bacteria and viruses – causing gastroenteritis, skin infections, hepatitis and who knows what else – are flowing freely through our waterways and into the ocean.
We need your help to End Sewage Pollution, John.

Water companies are choosing to pay out big bonuses to shareholders instead of investing in the infrastructure we desperately need, and all the while the Government is looking the other way.
We're sick of sewage. Donate now to help End Sewage Pollution.
Your donations are vital and will help us to keep water users safe, protect marine life, and put the pressure on the Government and water companies to stop raw sewage discharges completely by 2030.

Last year, there were 200,000 sewage discharges into our rivers, and our Safer Seas Service recorded over 1,700 discharges into coastal bathing waters during the bathing season alone.
This has to stop.
We’ve got the power to make a difference. Our work has already made huge improvements to water quality, but there’s so much more to do.
Donate Now to help create a safer, cleaner ocean.
