Dear A.,
Tonight, IDF jets

struck an apartment where Hamas arch-terrorist Izz al-Din Haddad was believed to be hiding. Haddad was the head of Hamas’s military wing and was one of the architects of the October 7 massacre. He was personally involved in the kidnapping of Israeli and American citizens.
According to a senior Israeli official, Haddad “has defiantly undermined President Trump’s and the Board of Peace efforts to disarm Hamas and demilitarize the Gaza Strip.” It is not yet clear if Haddad was killed, but a senior security official said the strike was likely successful.

Yesterday, Israeli and Lebanese officials began the first day of their third round of U.S.-mediated talks, which a State Department official

State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott

KAN News reported today that Israel and Lebanon are negotiating an IDF withdrawal from southern Lebanon, subject to Hezbollah being disarmed.
The report also said that the CIA has prepared a plan to disarm the Iranian-backed terror group.
The United States must continue to increase the pressure on Lebanon to ensure that it fulfills its stated commitment to fully disarm Hezbollah.

Additionally, Prime Minister Netanyahu's office announced that he made a secret visit to the UAE in the early days of Operation Roaring Lion.
These visits to the Emirates underscore the strategic cooperation between the two countries, a direct result of the Abraham Accords.
Meanwhile, as Iran continues to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed, the UAE is accelerating the construction of a

Op-ed: 'AIPAC and Israel Are Good for America'
In a
[link removed]
new op-ed , Jewish Journal Editor-in-Chief David Suissa writes about the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship to America, and the role AIPAC plays in keeping it as strong as possible.
"It’s now normal, even cool, to bash Israel. It’s even good for your career. This has made things ever more challenging for a lobby group like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), whose very mission is to strengthen the [U.S.-Israel] relationship. The genius of AIPAC has always been its ferocious focus on making support for Israel a nonpartisan issue."
"AIPAC is a savvy group that knows how to make the best of tough situations. But what they could use right now is a boost to Israel’s image, and the pro-Israel community can help."

Israeli technology will be used to protect American soldiers. A strong U.S.-Israel alliance keeps us safe.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
