Hammer for North Dakota

Friend,

I’m not sure if you knew this, but Julie Fedorchak has been a career politician for 15 years.

Fifteen years of collecting a government paycheck. Fifteen years of cultivating donors, attending fundraisers, and building a political machine. Fifteen years of saying the right things to the right people to stay in power.

I spent 25 years in the Marine Corps.

Twenty-five years of service. Of flying helicopter missions in Iraq. Of putting the mission and the people next to me ahead of everything else. Of doing the job whether it was comfortable or not.

Here’s what 25 years in the Marines teaches you: Officers Eat Last. You show up. You do the work. You are accountable to the people depending on you.

Here’s what 15 years in politics apparently teaches you: avoid town halls. Take the special interest money. Use taxpayer-funded ads to boost your own career. and don’t show up for North Dakota.

Julie Fedorchak has not held a single in-person public town hall for her constituents. Not one.

In the Marines, if you refused to show up and answer to the people counting on you, that was called a failure of leadership. In Washington, they call it a career.

North Dakota deserves better than a politician who has spent 15 years learning how to keep herself in power.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a Marine officer, a former oil industry worker, and a public school science teacher from Minot. I don’t have a political machine. I have you.

I can win this race, but I need your help. If you’re ready to send a Marine to Congress instead of a career politician, chip in $25, $50, or $100 today.

Candidate for U.S. House, North Dakota

I’m Trygve Hammer, a fourth-generation North Dakotan, retired Marine, and former oilfield roughneck, union railroad worker, and public school teacher. I am running to defeat a MAGA Congresswoman who is a rubber stamp for Trump. I have never been afraid of a fight. To make sure voters hear about how I’m taking on Big Money in politics to make life more affordable, I need your support.
