Email from Defend Our Courts On Tuesday, let’s give them something to really whine about John, Justices Warren and Bethel are upset. They've been making the rounds in the Georgia press complaining that their re-election campaign has become too political. These are the justices who looked the other way while Trump tried to steal Georgia's 2020 election. The justices who upheld the abortion ban that is costing Georgia women their lives. Those justices think things have gotten too political. Tuesday, we give them something to really whine about. This race is political. Of course it's political. The Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act and within days governors across the South were calling special sessions to gerrymander Democratic districts out of existence. Brian Kemp just announced Georgia's own special session. Virginia's Supreme Court threw out a voter-approved redistricting referendum. MAGA is using every court they control to choose their voters — because they know the voters will not choose them. Warren and Bethel are part of that machine. They have already shown us exactly whose side they're on. Tuesday is accountability. But it's also something bigger. We are 2-0. Pennsylvania: won. Wisconsin: won. A win Tuesday sends us into the fight to Unpack Our Courts — our initiative to reform and rebalance the U.S. Supreme Court — with an undefeated record and the momentum of three consecutive wins against Leonard Leo's dark money machine. A loss hands that machine a victory at the exact moment we need to be strongest. Leonard Leo started this war. MAGA escalated it. We have been winning it — court by court, state by state — and we are not done. One month ago the funding gap in Georgia was $3 million. Today it is less than $275,000. Democrats from across the nation rallied to help achieve that. $275,000 helps fund the entire final stretch. It is millions of voter contacts in the 4 days we have left. And when Georgia is won — starting Wednesday — we scale up. We build the coalition to Unpack Our Courts. We find the supporters who will fund the most important constitutional fight of our lifetime. We make this movement too big to fail. But we don't get there without finishing Georgia first. Can we count on you to rush a donation of $50, $25, or whatever you can spare — to close the gap, hold the line, and walk into the biggest fight of all with a perfect record?
