Hi there, folks – it’s DGA Chair Andy Beshear reaching out at a critical moment in our country.

As the Democratic governor of a red state, I know what it takes to win anywhere – and how to deliver for every single person in my state. And if this past year has shown us anything, it’s that Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, are sick and tired of Donald Trump and his failing policies.
|
|
With 36 governors’ races on the ballot this November, we are primed to expand our blue firewall of Dem govs across the country – an essential step in fighting back against Trump’s harmful agenda.
|
|
But before I go on, I’ve got one quick question to ask:

Ahead of this year’s elections, Democrats have momentum – largely due to the hard work of Dem govs nationwide. Together, we’ve stood up to Donald Trump – fighting tooth and nail against his attempts to gut our health care, tank our economy, and take away fundamental rights from the people of our states.

We’ve made it clear: We refuse to back down to Trump – and we’ll do everything in our power to protect our people from his chaos and deliver real, sustainable results.
|
|
As Chair of the DGA, it’s my honor and duty to lead us to Election Day with our best foot forward – and I need your help doing it, team.

This November, we’ve got 36 chances to elect more Dem govs, 36 chances to improve and expand access to health care, 36 chances to make life more affordable, and 36 chances to send a clear message to Donald Trump and reject his failing policies.

As a second-term governor, Andy Beshear has a long record of accomplishments. He restored voting rights to nearly 200,000 Kentuckians, secured low-cost health care for tens of thousands, had the three best economic development years on record, and had the lowest unemployment rate in state history. He won his first election for governor by just 5,136 votes and his second by 5 percentage points because Kentuckians and folks across the country know that he will work every day to make Americans’ lives better – from jobs to infrastructure, health care, public education, and so much more.
Now, as our DGA Chair in 2026, he will continue to fight for progress by electing Democratic governors across the country.
