What an incredible first day of the Democratic National Convention! I’m already so moved by so many leaders coming together to say they’ll do everything they can to elect Joe and me, and Democrats up and down the ballot.

And Michelle Obama had my favorite speech of the night. I had to make sure you saw her undeniable call to action: “If we have any hope of ending this chaos, we have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it.”

She’s absolutely right. And one way we can keep up this fight is by making sure we have the resources to run effective organizing and advertising programs in battleground states across the country.

Joe announced our huge goal to raise $25 million before the convention ends. And based on our campaign’s internal goals across the country, we’re hoping to still raise $990,000 of it from Pennsylvania.

The formal roll call will confirm Joe Biden as our party’s nominee for President. On Wednesday, I’m so excited to speak and humbly accept your nomination to be the next Vice President of the United States. And on Thursday, Joe will speak and officially accept the nomination as your candidate for President.

But before then, we have still have to keep up the fundraising pace.
