Donald Trump knows that his re-election campaign is not going well. That’s why he is doing everything in his power -- and some things outside of his power -- to make it harder for Americans to exercise their constitutional right to vote. And in an election that will be held during a pandemic, that includes dismantling the Postal Service before our very eyes to make it harder for us to vote safely and securely by mail.

We're not going to let Donald Trump stand in the way of our democracy. The House is taking action and voting this weekend on legislation that will deliver much-needed funds to the United States Postal Service. But our bill won't become law unless Mitch McConnell allows a vote in the Senate.
