Now he wants to remove our biggest barrier

John ,

You may remember Lars Mapstead.
He ran for president in 2024, and spent over $1 million on his campaign before the nomination.
He had no idea the challenges Libertarians faced to get on the ballot before then.
Lars never intended to run for any office. He voted for Ross Perot, Ron Paul, Johnson, and Jorgensen/Cohen before seeing how badly the government was destroying our lives and liberty.
It was not until he ran himself that he realized how much ballot access drains us, our resources, and protects the duopoly.

We simply cannot compete with the other two parties when we have to fight to exist before the election even starts.
That’s why he started Ballots without Barriers, and I invite you to check it out.
If you’re tired of spending half of our party’s money towards ballot access every year
If you’re tired of choosing races because they “get us ballot access” instead of winning
If you’re tired of bringing volunteers, attention, and candidates in just to exist - instead of challenging the Democrats and Republicans on their warmongering, big spending, country-destroying policies...
[link removed] It’s time to do something about it.
Ballots Without Barriers has already recruited over 10,000 voters who want to see more competition in our elections.
They’ve brought on Harrison Kemp, former chair of the Maine LP, who reduced his state’s party registration requirement by 50% to only 5,000 registrations.
They’ve got Richard Winger of Ballot Access News and Sarah Brady, who led the effort in NC to reduce the ballot requirements from 1% of registrations to a mere 0.1% of registrations.

For too long, ballot access reform has been treated like a niche issue for third parties.

It’s not.
Let’s fight back.
