This is exactly why we need Maria Cantwell in the Senate.
She’s willing to go toe to toe with the Trump administration, call out climate denial for what it is, and say the things too many people in Washington, DC are afraid to say.
While too many politicians are still burying their heads in the sand, Maria is standing up for science, accountability, and the truth.
That kind of leadership matters right now.

Donald Trump and the GOP don’t think you know the answer to this question so I need to ask you directly:
Do you believe climate change is real?
YES [[link removed]] NO [[link removed]]
This isn’t an easy question for members of Congress to answer.
Republicans blocked a resolution recognizing the reality of rising sea levels caused by human-driven climate change even though scientists, coastal communities, and even federal reports have warned us for years about the economic and environmental damage if we fail to act.
Instead of listening to the science, these politicians are still pretending this crisis is not happening. We cannot afford climate denial anymore.
Communities across the entire country are dealing with stronger storms, floods, wildfires, droughts, and rising seas.
And while all of this is happening, the Trump Administration is weakening environmental protections and expanding offshore drilling.
We should be investing in research, protecting our environment, and preparing communities for the challenges ahead - not burying our heads in the sand.
I can’t believe I have to say this, but we need to prove to these deniers that a majority of American voters believe in climate change so I’ll ask again - please weigh in:
Do you believe Congress should recognize the reality of climate change and act accordingly?
YES [[link removed]] NO [[link removed]]
