Taking back the Senate majority is incredibly important, but it won’t be easy. And the truth is Senate campaigns like this one are extraordinarily expensive. $250 million was spent in Ohio during Sherrod’s last race, which set a new record for the most expensive Senate campaign in history.

It shouldn’t take millions of dollars to win a race like this, but that’s the reality we live in.
