Over the spring semester, we worked on connecting with students, building relationships with MSAs and other established student orgs, and hosting events alongside them. Through that process, we found and recruited students to help lead these campus chapters. These twelve students are changemakers and leaders on campus, often in a volunteer capacity. We hope this initiative will give them the resources they need to ensure their passion doesn’t burn out. These chapters will host civic education events, debates, networking panels, and community-building events, ensuring students get the opportunities and information they need. They will also run advocacy campaigns for issues that matter to them from campus to Capitol Hill, and gain access to elected officials, a national network of ambitious Muslim student leaders, and paid leadership and development opportunities.

From our Emerging Leaders sessions, MSA partnerships, and internship programs, student empowerment has always been at the heart of what we do. Emgage University expands on that by giving Muslim and allied students a way to stay consistently engaged and a platform to help them lead on crucial issues and debates on campus. These university chapters will also have opportunities to build alongside our state chapters and staff, giving our students and staff room to grow and learn from each other.
These twelve chapters are just the start. Already, we’re having conversations with students at George Washington University, Rutgers, Princeton, Temple University, and more.
If you are interested in running a student chapter on your campus, or know students who are, fill out this application and reach out to [email protected].
Without your support, these chapters nor these events would be possible. Help us build a future where all Muslim American students have a pathway to continue to make a difference and lead our community. |
We are excited to continue to build these chapters over the summer and hit the ground running in the Fall 2026 semester. Follow this journey on our Emgage University Instagram account and find more info on our website.
