[ [link removed] ]Katie Porter for Governor
Tonight is
the final debate before the June primary—the last debate voters will see
before they make one of the biggest decisions facing California.
So let me be very clear: Californians are being crushed by costs—rent,
groceries, child care, health care—and too many politicians are acting
like this is normal.
I don’t agree.
If corporations are jacking up prices and politicians are protecting the
system that lets them do it for personal gain, then voters should have
someone in this race willing to take them on directly.
That’s why I’m running on single-payer health care, less expensive
housing, free child care, tuition-free public college, and real
accountability for the people and corporations driving up costs.
My opponents are comfortable with the way things are. I’m not.
Tonight, voters will see that difference one final time before casting
their ballots.
With less than three weeks left, we’re in the most critical stretch of
this campaign. We have to secure a spot in the top two to move on to
November and make sure undecided voters hear our message long after the
debate ends.
Unlike my opponents, I’m not relying on my own checks or corporate cash to
power my campaign.
I’m relying on grassroots supporters coming together, stepping up, and
giving what they can in moments like this.

whatever you’re able to today to help us keep reaching voters, secure a
top-two spot in the primary, and keep fighting for a California that works
for everyone.
