John, Eugene here. I am emailing to ask respectfully if you can contribute $20.26 to my campaign before midnight tomorrow. I’m sorry to be so direct, but it is incredibly important that I have your support right now.
Tomorrow marks the midpoint of the quarter, meaning we have just a month and a half left before our FEC quarter comes to a close in June — our first time to publicly report our fundraising data since the Virginia Supreme Court overturned voter-elected maps. And truthfully, right now we're falling behind on our quarterly fundraising goals.
This might be our most critical quarter yet, John. Because now I’m back to running in VA-7 — one of the most competitive seats in the country — and am a top target for Republicans.
So here’s the deal: If we show even an ounce of weakness on our next FEC report, National Republicans, who are already pummeling me with attacks, are going to double down. Like us, they know the path to winning the House majority in November runs through our district. With a race this close, the MAGA GOP will use every opportunity to take us down.
John, there is no way we can hold onto this seat without your continued support. So I am asking:
Thank you,
Eugene Vindman
