Listen: I know I’m probably not the only candidate who sends you emails like these, many of whom probably with compelling stories as well.

So today, I want to tell you what sets me apart from every other Democrat who reaches out to you.

The biggest difference? I win. As a Democrat. In Kansas. Not many people can say that.

That winning record has earned me incredible supporters over the years. If you’re one of them, I’m extremely grateful. But frankly, that record has also earned me a lot of adversaries too — adversaries with more money and more power than you could ever imagine.

And those adversaries think they’ve got my number this year. They think, if they pour enough money into Kansas — more than they ever have before — and attack my record relentlessly to anyone who will hear it, they can install one of their own hand-picked politicians in my place.

Well, I believe something different. I believe, if we get our message out to every single voter across the district and push back against those right-wing lies, we won’t only hold this seat. We’ll send National Republicans a midterm message they’ll never forget. If you believe that too, I’m humbly asking for your support.
