Friends, I’m proud to share that Oregon Right to Life PAC has endorsed my campaign for Governor. This endorsement means a great deal to me because this issue has never been political theater or a talking point. It is deeply personal. What makes this campaign different is that my perspective comes from real experiences I’ve had with the abortion industry, from walking alongside women in difficult moments, and from working hard to help vulnerable children and families find a voice and real support. As a mom, and now a grandma to two beautiful granddaughters, I think often about the kind of Oregon we are creating for the next generation. I believe every woman deserves compassion, support, and the resources necessary to choose hope over desperation. That belief has shaped the work I’ve done as a Marion County Commissioner. I’ve worked to expand access to pregnancy resource centers and strengthen community-based systems that support women and families before they reach a crisis point. I believe strongly that prevention is better than reaction. We should be investing in education, stability, healthy families, and support systems that actually help people thrive. For too long, these conversations have been reduced to slogans and politics. I believe Oregon deserves leadership willing to approach this space with both conviction and compassion. Long before I ran for Governor, I was already doing this work because I believed it mattered. And I still do. As Governor, I will continue fighting for policies that strengthen families, support women, protect vulnerable children, and build healthier communities across Oregon. I’m deeply grateful for the support of Oregon Right to Life PAC, and grateful for everyone who continues to stand with this campaign. Danielle Bethell |
