John —
President Trump is attempting to defund the United States Postal Service to suppress vote-by-mail in November.
He literally said he opposed fully funding the USPS because it “means they can't have universal mail-in voting” without more money.
In the midst of a historic pandemic, we need vote-by-mail to protect voters and ensure this election is fair in November.
Sign our urgent petition demanding President Trump and Congress fully fund the post office — which is essential for a functioning society and democracy — before it’s too late:

So far, Trump and Republican leaders have refused Democratic calls to fully fund the USPS since the beginning of this pandemic.
Why? Because the Trump administration is worried about people voting by mail during this pandemic. Trump himself has made no secret of the fact that he’s terrified Republicans could lose big if millions of Americans are able to safely cast their ballots during this year’s elections.
The USPS’s massive budget crisis would cripple its ability to deliver and collect mail ballots — meaning Americans would have to decide whether to potentially risk their health by voting in person during this outbreak or not vote at all.
We cannot let that happen. Sign our petition demanding Trump and McConnell fully fund the USPS before it’s too late:
