FIRST: The Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, opening the door for states to gerrymander districts and dilute the voting power of Black Americans.
THEN: State legislators in Tennessee [[link removed]] and Louisiana [[link removed]] moved immediately to carve up majority-Black districts and lock in more GOP seats ahead of the 2026 midterms.
NOW: The Virginia Supreme Court has rejected [[link removed]] a redrawn congressional map approved by voters that favors Democrats.
We won’t let the Virginia decision stand. We won’t allow the voters to be silenced. If we want to flip the House this fall, we need to out-raise, out-organize, and out-work Republicans.
