Friend,

The 38th District is proudly home to thousands of government workers. And while I've fought for my constituents, Congress has once again dropped the ball -- another government shutdown is now looming over Washington.

During the last shutdown, I spoke out against President Trump and his allies in Congress for using government workers and those who rely on government benefits as pawns in their political game. We can't let that happen again, but I need your help.

While I'm committed to fighting for this district's government workers and all those who rely on essential government services, some in Washington would rather play politics. So, friend, I have to ask -- can you chip in to my $1,000 end-of-month goal today?

DONATE » [link removed]

From running our airports to managing our national parks, federal employees perform vital functions in our communities. That's why they deserve Congress' full support -- not repeated stress about whether they'll receive the paycheck they're owed.

Help me send a message to Congress that federal workers are not political calculations by rushing a donation today -- because when the functioning of our federal government is on the line, there's just too much at stake to sit this one out.

Thanks for all you do,

Linda Sánchez
