ions and leaders linked to acts of terror targeting Palestinians. NJN is ca=
lling on the United States to follow suit. We want you to join this effort.=

Settler attacks against Palestinians have skyrocketed since the start of th=
e Iran War. In the first month of the war alone, there were an average of s=
ix attacks a day. Families are being driven from their homes. Farms are bei=
ng destroyed. Entire communities are living under constant threat. At least=
13 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war.=20
Now, even America=E2=80=99s closest allies are taking action. Yesterday, th=
e European Union imposed sanctions on settler organizations tied to violenc=
e, to dispossession, and to the expansion of illegal outposts.=20
The EU is acting because the Israeli government won=E2=80=99t stop the viol=
ence. On the contrary, The Israeli government has provided resources to per=
petrators. And they have created a culture of impunity by telling law enfor=
cement to look the other way. Take, for instance, the refusal of Netanyahu=
=E2=80=99s new Shin Bet chief to call the attacks on Palestinians acts of t=
error. Instead, he euphemistically calls them =E2=80=9Ccases of friction.=

We need international pressure to get this violence to stop. The US should =
stand with our European allies.=20
We know that getting the Trump Administration to act will not be easy. On t=
heir first day in office, they revoked President Biden=E2=80=99s sanctions =
against violent settlers. But even this administration is going to feel pre=
ssure to act in light of what=E2=80=99s happening in the West Bank.=20

Settler attacks against Palestinians have skyrocketed since the start of the Iran War. In the first month of the war alone, there were an average of six attacks a day. Families are being driven from their homes. Farms are being destroyed. Entire communities are living under constant threat. At least 13 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the war.
Now, even America’s closest allies are taking action. Yesterday, the European Union imposed sanctions on settler organizations tied to violence, to dispossession, and to the expansion of illegal outposts.
The EU is acting because the Israeli government won’t stop the violence. On the contrary, The Israeli government has provided resources to perpetrators. And they have created a culture of impunity by telling law enforcement to look the other way. Take, for instance, the refusal of Netanyahu’s new Shin Bet chief to call the attacks on Palestinians acts of terror. Instead, he euphemistically calls them “cases of friction.”
We need international pressure to get this violence to stop. The US should stand with our European allies.
We know that getting the Trump Administration to act will not be easy. On their first day in office, they revoked President Biden’s sanctions against violent settlers. But even this administration is going to feel pressure to act in light of what’s happening in the West Bank.
