Campaign Update

 

 

Dear John,

 

 

The November election is just 78 days away, with absentee ballots hitting on
September 14 and early voting starting on October 12.  Team Handel is making
sure every single day counts – from phone banking and knocking doors to
fundraising.  You and every single member Team Handel are crucial to winning in
November.  Whether you’re a loyal volunteer, intern, grassroots leader or
donor, we need all hands on deck.

 

 

To get the word out and share our message, we’ve already knocked on over
50,000 doors, made more than 500,000 phone calls, and sent thousands of
personalized postcards to voters across GA-6.  This effort will continue over
the next two and half months, and we are so grateful and appreciative to all of
our volunteers and interns who are helping us cover so much ground.  (And, yes,
we are following the various mask and social distancing guidelines in these
times of COVID.)

 

 

Special thanks to everyone who came out for our Super Saturday, including the
awesome Sunny Wong who organized the Asian Pacific Americans for Trump.  The
feedback from voters has been PHENOMENAL.  Voters clearly want a representative
who is experienced and serious to take on the tough issues ahead.

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE

 

Calling all middle school, high school, and college students!  If you’re
looking for a fun way to get involved, enhance your resume, and meet great new
people, sign up to intern with Handel for Congress.  All of our activities
adhere to guidelines from our local school districts, and we have both socially
distanced and virtual internship opportunities.  GA-6 is one of the highest
profile House races in the country.  It’s a unique experience and you’ll build

OUT AND ABOUT IN GA-6

 

Despite the pandemic, I’m getting out across the district to meet with
voters.  I’m so energized by the support!  Here’s just a few of the events from
the past two weeks:

 

* What an honor to join my friends in the Indian American community to
celebrate the 74th Indian Independence Day.  The United States and India have a
strong relationship forged by our shared ideals of liberty and freedom.
* The Fulton GOP Women, led by the great Claire Bartlett, had its first
in-person event since March.  It was a record turnout with dozens ofNEW
conservative women, along with the entertaining Gene Ho, President Trump’s
official campaign photographer in 2016.
* It was a blast phone banking with other volunteers.  When Mark in Dunwoody
answered his phone, he couldn’t believe that it was really me calling live and
in-person.  We had a great conversation, and I was happy to help him navigate
the absentee ballot process.
 

There’s still a lot to do before November, and I need your help in any way
that you can engage.  This is the most important election of our lifetime – it
will set the direction of our country and state for at least decade. Too much
is on the line to stay on the sidelines.
