Experts predict that Ohio’s Senate race could be the closest in the country – and a recent poll shows me 1 point down against Republican Jon Husted.

I’m no stranger to tough fights or razor-thin margins. But shortly after the GOP’s super PAC announced a $79 million investment in this race to defeat me, Husted’s PAC started blanketing the airwaves with attack ads smearing my name.

Facing an onslaught of attacks and millions in GOP spending, I simply HAD to give my team the green light for TV ads of our own. It’s the only way we’ll be able to cut through the noise and reach Ohioans with the truth.
