Even if we take back the Senate, it might not be enough.

The filibuster—an archaic Senate rule that doesn’t exist in the Constitution—can put all of our progressive priorities in jeopardy.

By allowing any Senator to block legislation, the filibuster can derail our efforts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, fight the climate crisis, and get our economy back on track—even if we retake the Senate.
