Tell the EPA to ban bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides.
John,
We are in the midst of a massive global bee die-off. And the impact on our food system could be catastrophic. That’s because bees pollinate a majority of U.S. produce and nut crops.
But despite bees’ vital role in sustaining our food supply, Trump’s EPA has re-approved the widespread use of bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides. These toxic chemicals are a major contributor to the drastic decline; they impair bees’ natural defense systems, limit their reproductive success and reduce their chance of survival.
The EPA continues to stand with pesticide-producing corporations instead of doing its job and protecting our health and environment. This dangerous stance means that not only will humans be eating, drinking and breathing pesticide poisons for years, but bee colonies will also continue to suffer from this poisoning.
Bees are responsible for ONE of every FOUR bites of food that we eat. Losing them would be a disaster. But we can step up to help save bees.
Food & Water Action is fighting to pass crucial bills to ban dangerous pesticides across the country, and with your help, we’ll stand up to Trump’s industry-driven EPA. Together, we’ll protect bees and the food supply we all depend on.
