Governor Parson's Schedule for August 18 - 20, 2020
(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) ??This week, Governor Mike Parson will visit several child care facilities across the state. He will also host?Coronavirus Task Force Coordinator Dr.?Deborah Birx at the Missouri Governor's Mansion for a roundtable discussion with Cabinet members and community and state health officials on Tuesday, August 18.?
Missouri is one of several states Dr. Birx is visiting to meet with state officials and provide guidance on COVID-19. Dr. Birx will be available to the media after the roundtable at 11 a.m. at the State Capitol. Immediately following, Governor Parson will hold a briefing to provide updates on current events in Missouri.?Both the media avail and briefing will be live-streamed on Governor Parson's Facebook page, and pictures will be available on Flickr.?
On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Parson will visit Show Me Child Care Center in Jefferson City.?
On Wednesday, August 19, Governor Parson will visit Hannibal Children?s Center in Hannibal and Unleashing Potential in St. Louis. On?Thursday, August 20, he will visit Hall?s Loving and Learning Child Care in Raytown and A Touch of Nature Quality Child Care in Springfield.?
