Together with a Palestinian friend, she created “The Yellow Brick Road,” an educational project that teaches children in a refugee camp emotional intelligence, empathy and courage. She recently published her highly-acclaimed memoir, "The Rage Less Traveled."
Dr. Tawfik Hamid
Counterterrorism specialist and former Islamic extremist, Dr. Tawfik Hamid is now an Islamic scholar and reformer for a more peaceful version of Islam. He is the author of "Inside Jihad: How Radical Islam Works; Why It Should Terrify Us; How to Defeat It."
