Dear A.,
The Iranian regime last night sent its response to the latest U.S. proposal to end the war, which President Trump
[link removed]
called "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!"
Speaking today, Trump
[link removed]
reiterated that "Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon," adding that, "They think that I'll get tired of this or I'll get bored, or I'll have some pressure, but there’s no pressure, there’s no pressure at all. We're going to have a complete victory."
In an interview yesterday on 60 Minutes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
[link removed]
said the war in Iran "accomplished a great deal, but it's not over, because there's still nuclear material, enriched uranium that has to be taken out of Iran. There are still enrichment sites that have to be dismantled. There are still proxies that Iran supports. There are ballistic missiles that they still want to produce. Now, we've degraded a lot of it. But all that is still there, and there's work to be done."
"... we want to get the nuclear material out. We certainly want to get the enrichment sites dismantled. We've curbed a lot. We've degraded a lot of the missile production sites. But the agreement should cover all these areas, including the proxies," he added.
When asked how the enriched uranium can be removed, he said, "I think it can be done physically, that’s not the problem. If you have an agreement and you go in and you take it out, why not? That’s the best way."

Josh Gottheimer op-ed: 'I’m a Democrat. My Party Has a Double Standard on Antisemitism.'
Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), in an
[link removed]
op-ed for The New York Times, writes about the double standard his party has for antisemitism and Israel.
"Consider the response to — really, the embrace of — Hasan Piker, a prominent left-wing commentator with millions of online followers. He referred to Orthodox Jews as “inbred” and said “America deserved 9/11,”... He said that Hamas... is “a thousand times better” than Israel, America’s ally, which he called a “fascist settler colonial apartheid state” — a statement he stands by.
"Sadly, we’ve seen several prominent Democrats appear on his show and even campaign with him, granting his views legitimacy. I’ve spoken to congressional colleagues who have privately told me that many things Mr. Piker has said are disgusting. Yet they’ll say nothing about it in public, even as they rightly rush to condemn President Trump for his unending barrage of offensive comments and social media posts."
"Last month, most Senate Democrats voted for two measures that would have blocked sales of military equipment to Israel... Is this turnabout a legitimate departure from decades of American foreign policy? Or — more likely — is it a politically convenient stance that coincides with a small but vocal and growing segment of the political left making opposition to support for Israel a new litmus test?"
"The Democratic condemnation piled on Israel’s government is overwhelming in comparison to other allies. It’s also louder than Democrats’ condemnation of Iran’s regime for the slaughter of thousands of Iranians in December and January. Israel has been decried by some leading Democrats as an 'apartheid' state. But I haven’t heard any of them claim apartheid when it comes to how women and L.G.B.T.Q. people are treated across the Middle East."

Primaries tomorrow in Nebraska and West Virginia
Five AIPAC-endorsed candidates will be on the ballot tomorrow in the Nebraska and West Virginia primaries. They look to join the more than 70 AIPAC-backed candidates who have already won their primary races this cycle.
Next week, on May 19, AIPAC-endorsed former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein will look to unseat one of the most anti-Israel members of Congress, Rep. Thomas Massie.
IDF dismantles Hamas and PIJ infrastructure
The IDF over the weekend

dismantled a series of Hamas tunnels in Gaza, including one in Khan Younis that had been used for holding hostages.
One set of the tunnels stretched 2.5 miles and also included living quarters for the senior commander of Hamas' Khan Younis brigade.

Another set of tunnels in central Gaza were 1.25 miles long and contained several hideouts for terrorists and a number of weapons (video below).

Israeli troops also dismantled a facility used by both Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Hamas to

produce and store weapons .
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
