John,
Just two weeks ago, Virginians made their voices heard.
Voters rejected an effort backed by Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans to redraw congressional maps in the middle of the decade to help rig the 2026 elections.
Now, the Virginia Supreme Court has stepped in and overturned the result.
This comes as Republican legislatures and courts across the country continue working to weaken voting rights and reduce representation for communities they see as political obstacles.
We are already seeing it happen in states like Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, and Tennessee. Districts are being dismantled. Communities are being divided. Representation that voters fought for over generations is being erased.
And the U.S. Supreme Court has made it easier for them to do it.
This is bigger than one referendum or one state.
It is part of a coordinated national effort to decide whose voices matter and whose do not.
We cannot sit back while that happens.
If we are going to fight back against these attacks on voting rights, representation, and democratic accountability, we need the resources to organize, communicate, and win.
Can you make a contribution today to help us continue this fight? [[link removed]]
At the end of the day, voters deserve the final say about who represents them in Washington. That principle is worth defending. And it’s going to take all of us doing everything we possibly can.

Thank you,
