Friends,

Racism is hurting AAPI communities across the country.

A new study from UCLA shows that 83% of Asian Americans with a high school diploma or less have filed for unemployment in California -- compared to just 37% of the rest of the labor force with the same level of education.

At the same time that xenophobia is forcing minority-owned businesses to close, many AAPIs have also found themselves personally targeted by hate: the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council reports at least 2,300 incidents of racism against AAPIs as of last month.

But somehow, over half of Republicans and over a quarter of Democrats say they’re not concerned about the effect of racism on the AAPI community. At a time when 75% of Asian Americans are concerned about racism, we’re standing with our community and against bigotry in all its forms. Will you stand with us? Tell us now:

Do you stand with the AAPI community?
