Kentucky banned DEI in its public universities last June.


So, Accuracy in Media sent an undercover investigator to see whether anything actually changed.


Karen Christopher, a professor of Sociology at the University of Louisville, gave us the answer.


“What I’ve heard, and this is all rumor, is that the legislature [feels] like they did enough because they've closed a lot of DEI offices.”

Closing DEI offices is a start… but it doesn’t solve the problem. The ideology is still being taught and promoted widely.


"I'm teaching it exactly the same as I taught it for the past few years. Curriculum has not been touched yet.”

And here’s the bigger issue: this wasn’t an isolated conversation.

Accuracy in Media has caught multiple faculty and administrators in Kentucky admitting the same basic reality: Universities have made cosmetic gestures towards legal compliance, but they remain committed to promoting DEI.
