A few weeks back, I shared that this campaign's average donation was $18.81 — this is a big deal to me. We're fueled by people, not corporate PACs.

Meanwhile, ActBlue reported that one of my primary opponents had an average contribution of $612. One donor to their campaign can write a single check larger than what dozens of our supporters give combined. That's the machine we're up against.

That's why it stings a little to tell you: our average donation has dropped to $15.26.

This is not the end of the world. But I would feel wayyyyy better going into the final stretch knowing we picked those dollars back up — especially with my opponents raking in checks that would make your jaw drop.
