GSN Calls for Change

Leadership in this pivotal moment requires us all to raise our voices. Grounded Solutions Board and Staff are engaged in advocacy for lasting affordability now as our path to racial equity. Shelterforce Magazine recently published two of our essays which speak to the power of our collective vision for racial justice. One piece titled: Lasting Affordability Is the Path to Resilience, authored by the experts of our State and Local Policy team, outlines the local housing policies and resources  to expand the scale of our work. The other titled: The Most We Can Do: A National Mandate for Housing Justice, authored by our Board President and our CEO, states the case for a bold new national policy initiative supporting shared-equity programs to address inequality and exclusion in the realms of housing.
