Nauru, Honduras recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital
The Republic of Nauru in Micronesia and the Central American country of Honduras have formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, joining the select club of countries who have done so, including the United States, Guatemala and the Republic of Vanuatu.

The video blames the Hasidic community in Rockland County, NY for issues concerning housing in the area by using antisemitic tropes, including images of visibly identifiable Orthodox Jews and phrases such as “plotting a takeover” that are deeply disturbing and completely unacceptable.

German soccer team criticizes its fans after antisemitic and racist chants
Members of the Chemnitzer Football Club, part of Germany’s third division soccer league, refused to acknowledge its traveling fans as is customary at the end of a match after playing Bayern Munich’s second team on Saturday. Racist and antisemitic chants were heard during the second half of the game.

Israel to UN Sec. Council: Take action against Iranian attacks from Syria

UK museum to commemorate little-known operation to rescue Jews from Nazi Germany
A little-known operation that rescued thousands of Jews from Nazi Germany will be commemorated next week at the former military base in southern England where they were saved. As part of the unveiling, a group of descendants of the approximately 4,000 rescued Jewish refugees will unveil a plaque at the site.

UN vote could clear path to cutting peacekeepers in southern Lebanon
The authority of peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon is a matter of annual debate at the United Nations, pitting security concerns against sovereignty rights. But for the first time in recent memory, the Security Council this year will formally review the size of the forces and allow cuts to be considered when it renews the mission.

The National Library of Israel has established the Pritzker Family National Photography Collection, after the American billionaire endowed the collection to the institution. The collection of more than 2 million images will continue to be digitised following a major financial gift from The John Pritzker Family Fund.
