John, I’m Black. I’m angry. And I need your help.

The GOP has systemically targeted and discriminated against Black Americans for DECADES — and under Trump, it’s getting even worse!

“In the past year, federal, state and institutional decisions have gutted major pillars of America's civil rights protections and racial equity infrastructure, wiping away public data, slashing research funding, and erasing Black history.” – Axios

Historians even say President Trump’s extreme rollback of civil rights has been the “largest since Reconstruction.”

But right now, there’s a bill that could protect Black history and end these Republican attacks at the national level. It’s called the Black History is American History Act.

John, now more than ever, it’s critical that Congress reintroduces and passes this bill to safeguard the rights of Black Americans and allow children to learn about our nation’s ENTIRE history — including Black history — in schools. Otherwise, Trump and his racist Republicans will continue to rip away all the progress our ancestors fought for.

Here’s exactly what Trump’s racist administration is doing:

Whitewashing Black history by banning books that cover the Civil Rights Movement and racism in America.
Defunding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs that aim to increase inclusivity and representation in schools.
Erasing Black History from National Parks, military bases, federal websites, and wherever possible!
He even believes the passing of Civil Rights Act led to white people being “badly treated.”
His inflammatory rhetoric and racist policies has dangerous consequences for Black Americans. As you read this, Trump’s racist agenda is spreading like wildfire nationwide, as MAGA Governors heed his call to erase Black history bit by bit.
