This isn't about logistics. This isn't about administrative convenience.
Make absolutely no mistake about it: This is about diluting the political power of Black people.
They gutted the Voting Rights Act so they could do exactly this — rig the system, suppress the vote, and hold onto power by any means necessary.
But one thing about me: I'm not going to sit back and take this idly.
I'm a third-generation farmer. Hard work, tenacity, and toughness are in my blood. I've spent my life fighting for what's right, and I'm not about to stop now.
Yes, it's been a week of devastating news. The Voting Rights Act gutted. Elections postponed. Our democracy under assault.
But we still have the golden ticket to get us out of this: the chance to FLIP this Senate seat.
When we win in November, we don't just elect Louisiana's first Black Senator since Reconstruction. We send a message that voter suppression will not stand. That democracy matters. That Black voices will be heard whether MAGA likes it or not.
But I need your help. We need to show strength right now — not weakness.
