That’s not just a nice thing people say in emails. It’s how we won a special election in Michigan this week by nearly 20 points. A whole lot of people gave what they could; we put those resources to work, and we won.

That’s how we have resources to organize. That’s how we reach voters. That’s how we elect leaders who care about lowering costs and making life a little easier for working families.

Because yeah, everything is more expensive right now. Gas, groceries, child care, rent — it all adds up fast. So I won’t pretend that giving $3 isn’t important. In fact, it’s one of the most important ways we build grassroots power.
