Hi team — I’m Paulina, the DNC’s Deputy Chief Mobilization Officer.

I wanted to update you on my team’s work since the 2024 election — work that grassroots supporters like you helped fund.

I oversee our content and creative team, whose biggest function is to run our social media accounts. They work long hours, staying up late into the night when big news breaks, to make sure that Democratic messaging reaches as many people as possible, no matter the platform.

And it’s working. We’re growing rapidly on platforms like TikTok — where we’ve gone from having around 1 million followers in November of 2024 to 5.4 million followers today.

We also received 738 million impressions last month — that’s 738 million times someone watched a TikTok, an Instagram reel, or read a tweet from The Democrats. What’s even more exciting is that 74.8% of our TikTok impressions came from people under the age of 35.

At the DNC, we hear a lot of feedback that Democrats need to do more to reach young people. This is how we do that.

And we’re not just posting about the chaos of the Trump administration — we’re using our platforms to share the work that Democrats are doing every day to make people’s lives better.

Winning the midterm elections is going to take Democrats giving it their all in every arena we have — on the ground, knocking doors, raising money, making calls, and, yes, posting on social media.
