In the most consequential election of our lifetimes, it shouldn't even be a question about whether every American voter has easy access to the ballot box. Yet today, we find ourselves in a fight for this most basic democratic principle.

This is a moment that demands involvement from us all. If we are to expand healthcare access, advance racial justice and LGBTQ equality, protect our environment, and create economic opportunity for everyone, then we must all act to preserve our democratic foundations.

I know this is a fight we can win if we stand together. I'm going to do everything in my power these next 79 days of the election to educate voters on safe, efficient ways to cast their ballots, and keep the issues of voter suppression and the sabotage of the U.S. Postal Service front-and-center.
