John -- The fact is, one vote in the U.S. Senate can have sweeping impacts across the country. Our Senate representatives are the key to getting ANY legislation passed in Congress.
Covid-19 relief legislation passed in the House, only to be gutted in the Senate. Critical funding for housing, food and unemployment have taken a back seat to corporate bailouts.
This is unacceptable!
And Senator Shelley Moore Capito has been right there, voting in line with Trump and McConnell every step of the way. She voted to confirm Betsy DeVos and Attorney General William Barr. She’s stood silent as voting rights are trampled on by Trump’s runaway Administration and his enablers’ hampering of the US Postal Service.
That’s why in November it’s critical that we elect Democrat Paula Jean Swearengin to the U.S. Senate in West Virginia. The people of her state and this nation can’t suffer through another six years of Capito’s incompetence and corruption.
