John,
This election is likely the most important of our lifetimes, and we
are not taking it lightly. We have to mobilize and use every resource
at our hands to ensure that Joe Biden is the next President of the
United States. Our lives and futures depend on it.
After three years of constant attacks from the Trump administration,
we need to bring a champion for the American public, including
transgender people, back to the White House. We need someone we know
we can rely on to have our interests at heart.
We've already told you why we think Joe Biden is the person to
do that, but we want you to hear it from him, in his own words.

Joe talks often about his beloved son Beau, who lost his battle to
brain cancer in 2015, being his driving force for running for
president this year. What many don't know, though, is that Beau
helped shape Joe's stance on transgender issues. As Attorney
General of Delaware, Beau Biden supported landmark legislation to add
non-discrimination protections based on gender identity. Joe Biden
credits Beau's support of the transgender community as part of
his journey to better understanding how leaders address the issues
impacting marginalized communities like ours.
Joe Biden has made transgender people a promise: to protect every
single right across the board, without exception. He knows that trans
rights are human rights and that discrimination is morally wrong,
politically wrong, and wrong for the country.
One of the greatest compliments Joe Biden can give you is to say that
you are part of the Biden family. We believe in Joe, welcome him to
our family, and look forward to working closely with his
administration as he works to Transform the White House.
Sincerely,
