According to NPR:
"Two years ago, Democrats broke Republican supermajorities in the North Carolina House and Senate by flipping seats in Charlotte and Raleigh that had been trending Democratic for a decade. But that low-hanging fruit is gone. Now, to claim a majority in either chamber, they must win in places where President Trump won easily four years ago."
The same is true in other states. The races we're investing in in 2020 -- the races we MUST win to flip chambers and get Democrats a seat at the redistricting table -- will be more of a challenge. We can win them, but we need to invest more.
