Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have lived it. For more than 800,000 years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm ([link removed]) .
Our Earth passed 350ppm CO2 during 1988!
Mauna Loa Observatory ([link removed]) - We are now hitting 432ppm!
The last time in our planet's atmosphere was at this level was in the Pliocene era, around 3 million years ago.

Tell Congress:
"No Immunity for Big Oil!"
Today, Please
In April, Representative Harriet Hageman and Senator Ted Cruz introduced legislation in Congress that would shield the fossil fuel industry from legal liability
This harmful bill would deny justice to millions of people across the United States and prevent the fossil fuel industry from facing legal and legislative consequences for its role in the climate crisis.
This bill cannot be allowed to pass.
Your legislators in Congress need to hear from you! Calling their office is the most impactful way to make your voice heard. See the script and list of WI Representatives' phone numbers by clicking here:

Gather with us at noon every Saturday to make our voices heard.
Together, we stand for justice, equality, and change, reminding those in power that we will not be silent. Bring your energy, your signs, and your friends. Letβs raise our voices, week after week, until real change is won.
Dress for the weather. Bring your cellphone, water, hats & gloves, umbrella, sunscreen, and a chair if you need one. Bring a sign (use bold, large lettering, so your sign can be read by moving traffic, 2-5 words) or borrow one from our community.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
