Hey team,

It was great to speak with many of you during our first Tele-Townhall event yesterday! The event launched the start of our new series of events and Tele-Townhalls. This series aims to provide greater accessibility to our campaign as we push to bring progress to VA-1.

We know that achieving the American Dream in the 21st Century requires access to broadband internet, but it is not a reality for so many of our fellow Virginians. Ironically enough, we had our own WiFi issues while preparing to go live for today’s livestream. That moment of my team scrambling is reflective of the everyday struggles of so many – 67% of respondents during today’s event poll said they’ve experienced broadband issues in the past year.

That is why I am running for Congress, because the current holder of that office has not stepped up for our communities. I have been listening to those frustrations out on the trail, but have also realized so much hope by getting to meet you all and hear your stories.
