New York Times: New York Times: Tennessee Approves New Map Aimed at Flipping the Last Democratic Seat

That’s right. Just days after Trump’s far-right Supreme Court decided Louisiana v. Callais, which gutted the Voting Rights Act, Republicans in Tennessee are gerrymandering their map to split up Memphis, silencing voters in the state’s largest majority-Black city by pairing them with rural voters hundreds of miles away.

And we’ll be honest: It’s only a matter of time before other Republican states follow.

Republicans know their agenda is historically unpopular, which is why Democrats have been on a winning streak since Trump took office last January. So Republicans are redrawing themselves more House seats in a desperate attempt to stop us from taking back the majority this November.

This means we need our grassroots team to step up like never before.

The DNC is organizing across the country, registering new Democrats in key battleground states, and providing resources to state parties and campaigns so they’re well-equipped to fight and win this year.

But we know it’s going to be an uphill battle that requires a massive influx of resources. Can we count on you to chip in to the DNC today to help us win back Congress this year?
