Earlier this week, we got back polling results. The great news is that once voters hear my core campaign message, we have what it takes to defeat my GOP opponent Jay Obernolte. After messaging, the result is a dead heat: 46% - 45%.

It’s gratifying to see that our message is resonating. Although our district is large and diverse, voters are fed up with an administration that is attacking working families.

But there is a challenge in front of us. Winning this race hinges entirely on our ability to get our message out. That means we need to significantly ramp up our fundraising efforts to fund our TV, mail, and voter turnout programs.
