Hey friend,

Last night we closed the books on our mid-month fundraising. Because of people like you, our team was able to hit our ambitious goal and raise what we needed to keep this campaign running strong.

I want to thank everyone who was able to chip in. Even though it'll be my name on the ticket this November — this race is about all of us. I'm not done fighting for a Richmond that works for everyone, and I know you aren't either.

It's true, we have a tough fight ahead of us. Politico reported our campaign will be more competitive this year, which means I'll be leaning on this grassroots team more than ever before.

Just like before, we'll have to fight hard to defeat the special interest groups who want to tear us down, silence our voices, and stick to the status quo. But I know if we keep showing up like this — we'll win big for our city.

Thank you again for your support. Now more than ever, it means so much to me.
