I'll be direct with you, because this is important: There's some new polling out, and it's not good.

Here's where we're at: 

* The New York Times initially reported on a poll that I was trailing my GOP opponent Jon Husted by just 1 point. 

* But then a new poll came in recently, and it's worse: The New York Times is now reporting that I'm behind by 3 points. 

National Republican super PACs are flooding Ohio with tens of millions of dollars to attack me and stop our momentum, and it's frustrating to see that it seems to be working. 

Folks, the general election is officially here, and it's more urgent than ever. I need you to step up. Our grassroots campaign is powered by working people who have each other's backs. I need you to have mine right now.

I'm personally asking: Will you rush $5 to help us fight back and flip Ohio for working families?
