Senator Ed Markey has spent his career fighting for working families against big money’s control of our politics and introduced the Green New Deal with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
His opponent, Joe Kennedy III, thinks he can beat Markey by counting on Super PACs to flood Massachusetts with negative attacks and warmed-over Clintonian nonsense about “a new generation.”
The truth of the matter is that young voters overwhelmingly support Ed Markey because we know we can count on him to stand up to fossil fuel companies and big banks in a way that we can’t from the heir to a political dynasty who’s comfortable relying on Super PACs to get elected.

In western Massachusetts, we are backing Alex Morse, a young progressive mayor that we can count on to work in the best interests of people, not just big donors like his corporate-controlled opponent Congressman Richard Neal.
Neal chairs the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which oversees all tax policy and gives him enormous influence on any major legislation that comes out of the House.
That’s why Wall Street and fossil fuel companies direct their people to pour money into Neal’s campaign. Having him in their back-pocket means that they are able to block or weaken any progressive legislation that gains momentum.
