#BlackWomenLead2020 @The DNC Hosted by Higher Heights for America and BET
The evening’s theme will celebrate the history-making moments that Black women have made to our American democracy from Sojourner Truth and Fannie Lou Hamer to Shirley Chisholm, Barbara Jordan and the Black women who are leading today. The late Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm once said, “At present, our country needs women’s idealism and determination, perhaps more in politics than anywhere else.” I think you would agree that this statement rings true today and Black women have a pivotal role to play in moving our country forward.

9:00 p.m. ET—Convention Watch Party
11:00 p.m. ET—Post Convention Conversation with The Sip
