Our access to the ballot is under direct threat because of the Trump Administration’s corrupt attempts at defunding the U.S. Postal Service to obstruct our right to vote.
And folks in this country are suffering because of it. My mother is a postal worker, and like so many, she has been going to work every day during this crisis to ensure folks can both send and receive the things they need – including mail-in ballots and lifesaving prescription medication.
It’s never been more important to support the USPS – that’s why I’ve called for the Postmaster General to be fired and denounced the President’s attacks. Will you chip in $15 or any amount to stand with me in this fight?

Our fundamental right to vote has never been more important as we look to elect strong leaders this year. And, especially now, access to mail-in ballots is imperative.
And yet, the U.S. Postal Service is dangerously close to running out of money and Donald Trump and his cronies are attacking this crucial, constitutionally mandated institution to serve their corrupt political agenda.
It’s unacceptable that Trump and his allies are putting the U.S. Postal Office in their crosshairs. It’s time to remove the US Postmaster General and it’s time to protect the USPS.
In fact, I joined The ReidOut on MSNBC to talk about the Trump administration’s continued failure to lead on this issue.
As I told Joy Reid, “If the President had spent as much time focused on the coronavirus as he has focused on stopping people from voting by mail, we would have seen a lot more lives saved.”
Enough is enough.
